CB-EC are unique carbon block elements made with the first NSF61 listed greencarbonTM. With standard processes, the production of activated carbon consumes a lot of water and energy to obtain high temperature steam necessary to activate the carbon for water treatment. With the greencarbonTM technology, coconut shell activated carbon is manufactured using a patented process that reduces significantly the need for water and energy and therefore reduces harmfull Green House Gas Emissions. While evironmentally friendly, CB-EC GREEN Block performs excellent contamination reduction with low pressure drop and high dirt holding capacity, thanks to high efficiency activated carbon and propietary manufacturing process with exclusive binders giving more micropores compared to other types of carbon blocks. The elements are always finished with outer and inner protective wraps and outer holding net.
